Grief is a comforting blanket that you need to rest with when you are trying to sleep. It’s something you walk with, hold hands with & let go of at times when you have to go eat lunch or shower. Grief is love, it’s heartbreak, it’s truly fall & fixture and the knowing— two are really one. It’s a shield- it’s an outlet and escape in order to protect us from internal and external circumstances. Grief is the moments you are fully alive and have nothing but cracks of light shining through parts of your body that were once so finitely soldered. Grief is a gateway, a creative expression, grief is cruel but it is the softest way to hold someone. You may not understand, and if you don’t… you will.

I’ll never stop looking. Into, before, there on our. ✨ Love you, too.
